Pointe Betsie is one of Michigan's lighthouses open for tours. Just 4 miles North of Frankfort, in the Northern lower peninsula on beautiful Lake Michigan.

I have created the painting primarily with a palette knife, which can be seen more vividly in the close-up photo above. I consider my style to be Realistic Impressionism. This view of Pointe Betsie shows a strong west wind tossing breaking waves on the shore. The sandy beach bears signs of weathered rocks and driftwood.

This painting is created on Gallery Wrapped Canvas which makes it possible to be hung with or without framing. Certificate of Authenticity is included with all original artwork.
